Community Board 5, Queens works to improve the Ridgewood, Maspeth, Middle Village and Glendale communities, which are part of Community District 5, Queens. Within our borders, we also have a small portion of Woodside and Rego Park. There are currently 45 members of our Board.

Our next scheduled Board Meeting will take place at 7:30pm on Wednesday, March 11th, 2020 in the Cafeteria of Christ the King HS, 68-02 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, NY 11379Every Thursday, between 10:30am and 3:30pm, a representative from the Greater Ridgewood Restoration Corporation assists both tenants and landlords with forms and information on their housing rights and responsibilities. We believe that a stronger community is more likely to be a safe, happy place for its residents, businesses, and families to live and grow in. Community Board 5 and surrounding areas offer valuable resources which include great shopping districts such as Fordham Road, Burnside Avenue, University Avenue, Tremont Avenue, Jerome Avenue, and Grand Concourse. Also, there is a great variety of organizations in our area that offer invaluable services to our community.
Community Board 5is always looking for ways to serve you better and will continue to work to improve the quality of life in the district. However, as a stakeholder in your Community your civic pride and participation is important. Therefore, please attend our General Board meetings and inform us about your needs and concerns.
